Make sure to spot the orthogonally aligned dots of different colours after creating the grid. This will help you to connect the dots perfectly. Try to keep your eyes on the screen to connect as many dots of the same colour orthogonally as you can to score the maximum points possible!

Go from left to right and do not forget to create the jagged patterns as soon as you realize that the connections being made are orthologous! Do not try to connect the dots diagonally as this is not going to give any points. This is a time-based puzzle so your performance and high score will depend upon how many connections you prepare within the given time frame.
